Together we will transit the “Golden Mile” a path famous for the expensive villas built there: Villa Erba, Villa d’Este, Villa Pizzo, Villa Le Rose (hosted Churchill in ’45), Villa Fontanelle (ex-Versace residence), Villa Oleandra (summer residence of Clooney).
On the way back, we will visit the rocky gorge “Orrido di Nesso” with its river that falls to the lake above an ancient medieval bridge called “La Civera”. Then to villa Pliniana, residence of Emilio di Belgioso first commander of the Napoleonic troops and where Gioacchino Rossini composed his Tancredi, to Castadiva resort, now Mandarin Oriental, 5 stars plus hotel.

Full day tour (8 Hours Tour) from Como and Lecco
Morning: Departure & Lakeside Villas
Your journey begins in the morning with a private boat departure from Como or from Lecco. As you set sail, take in the stunning landscape of deep blue waters framed by lush green hills and elegant villas. Your first stops include the majestic Villa d’Este and the famous Villa del Balbianello, two of the lake’s most iconic and picturesque estates. Learn about their rich history as you cruise past their beautifully landscaped gardens and capture stunning photos from the water.
Mid-Morning: Explore Bellagio
Continue towards the charming village of Bellagio, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Lake.” Disembark for a guided stroll through its cobblestone streets, filled with artisanal shops, quaint cafés, and historic landmarks. Enjoy some leisure time exploring the lush Villa Melzi Gardens, offering panoramic views of the lake.
Lunch: Gourmet Dining by the Lake

Afternoon: Discover Varenna & Tremezzo
After lunch, continue your journey across the lake to the picturesque village of Varenna, known for its pastel-colored houses and romantic waterfront. Take a brief walk through its narrow alleyways and visit the Villa Monastero, renowned for its botanical gardens.
Next, cruise to the elegant town of Tremezzo, where you can explore the gardens of Villa Carlotta, a historic villa surrounded by terraced gardens and sculptures. If time permits, enjoy a refreshing drink or gelato from a nearby café while watching the boats sail by.
Aperitif & Return Journey

After Bellagio, we cross over to the Lecco branch, which is the eastern side of the lake. Starting from Bellagio, we continue along the eastern shore toward Lecco.

- Details: A villa with an interesting history, located directly on the lakefront. The villa is set against a cliff, with a natural spring running through it.
Villa Monastero (Varenna)
Location: In Varenna, around 37 km from Como, near the Lecco branch.
Details: One of the most famous villas on the Lecco branch, with extensive botanical gardens and a picturesque lakeside position.
Villa Cipressi (Varenna)
Location: Also in Varenna, close to Villa Monastero.
